Polar foxes in Magdalenefjord.
It was a lovely start with fine weather and the first landing straighaway on the first evening. After a good hike across Erdmannflya we went into Forlandsund where we first encountered some fog and then plenty of whales. The sun followed us during a stunning day into St. Jonsfjord. Then we went via Ny-Ålesund to Magdalenefjord, where we met some extremely curious polar foxes. Did you ever have to save your equipment from foxes? 🙂
