This tour was not exactly favoured by the weather Gods, but the wildlife observations were certainly better than good. Two great polar bear sightings (and a number of more distant, but nevertheless very interesting ones), several outstanding whalewatching occasions including a jumping humpback whale, an excellent, close viewing of belugas and a Sabine’s gull towards the end of the trip. So certainly no lack of highlights! And of course there were not only these spectacular events, but all the landings, the tundra walks, the glaciers, the sailing … but have a look, the photo galleries below and the short version of the presentation will speak for themselves.
To follow over a couple of months are some 360 degree panorama images taken during this voyage.
