Gallery 2: In and around Pyramiden

Quite obviously, Pyramiden was the core of the trip for us. Both the place itself and its scenic surroundings were attracting us. We were fortunate enough to spend some golden september days there. It was an interesting start with the trip to Pyramiden with MS Billefjord including a visit to Nordenskiöldbreen, even with a distant sighting of a polar bear, Norwegian-style Frutti di Mare from the BBQ, some virtuoso Zodiac operations during the transfer to the shore and Sascha’s unforgettable guided walk through Pyramiden. Then we came to the point where everybody else leaves again – and this is where we started. What can I say, even three days in Pyramiden are just far too short!

Photographically, I spent most of my time shooting more 360 degree panoramic images. It will take some time to process the material, but have a look here for some earlier 360 degree impressions from Pyramiden and Billefjord.
