Roy­al wea­ther in Kongsfjord (King’s Bay).

After a sun­ny snow shoe walk in Engelskbuk­ta we rea­ched Kongsfjord with Ny-Åle­sund and Ossi­an Sars­fjel­let. We found yet ano­ther polar bear (a pret­ty lazy one, that is) and enjoy­ed an ama­zing day in stun­ning wea­ther.

SV Antigua 2023: Eidembukta

Snow shoe hike in Eidem­buk­ta.

In Eidem­buk­ta, we went out into the wide tun­dra one more time, and then we set sail (the real thing!) and sai­led back into Isfjord and to Lon­gye­ar­by­en.
